Lossy compiler

This is a retronym made necessary by the growing expectation that information and culture can be perfect transmitted – that the result on one end will be identical to the thing transmitted. Humans are lossy compilers, and cultural output made for humans should expect that it will be received in a way that deviate from the original product.
